• Knitting Rx saturday mornings 10-12am / $20. When a Studio is not necessary but you need support on a current project (project purchased at knit happens)

• For projects not purchased at knit happens, private sessions can be set up by appointment for $25. Before store opens , 9am or after closing 4pm.

Beginner Knitting: $60

• The first time knitter will begin their kntting journey with the long tail cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, correcting some mistakes, weaving in ends and binding off. You will learn to develop consistant stitches and a comfort level before moving on to a wonderful world of knitting with other techniques and fibers.
• The custom designed scarf has been created with the novice in mind, but will result in a warm fashion forward scarf you will want to wear this winter . You will also receive a bonus pattern for a Beehive Hat to go along with your scarf.

This time Susan will get you up and running in no time. You will create a beautiful shawl to hug your shoulders this winter or anytime you need a little hug from yourself. Learn to single and double, add stitches turn the corners and make a finishing edge. See below.

This scarf was designed to give you instructions on a cable cast on, basket weave, counting stitches and rows, garter, ribbing, moss, stockenette binding off and fringe. What a mouth full. We will work on fixing dropped sttiches and one session will be devoted to reading patterns of various compositions.

• These socks are knit on 2 circular needles and you will create a foot template to record your measurements and locations for the construction of you personal footprint sock. This sock is created from the toe up, but not like you ever have done it before.
• The purchase of the book, yarn and needles req’d.
• Stop in and take a look at the ones that have been done, cant wait to make the next pair with my new Cat Eye from Schoppel.

• Learn the fundementals of the technique of entrelac and stitch a variety of projects.

• Learn to knit up some lace, various patterns will be available or you may have something you would like to work up. We will learn to create the stitches in lace, read charts and of course, call in the lifelines!!

KAL - knit a long’s

Progressive Needles: free (with the purchase of yarn)

May 18th is our annual “Share our Strength – No Kid Go Hungry” Bake Sale

If you would like to bake drop off your goodies Friday afternoon. If you have a sweet tooth come on over and pick up something. 100% of the pocedes are send to the charity.
